Tipsa an international shipments and e-commerce company observed the shopping behavior of their clients with the finding that 70% of them rely on PrestaShop, 15 % on Magento and 5% on osCommerce while 10% uses all the other like Shopify, WooCommerce etc. More learn here.

PrestaShop announces new Chief Product Officer
Charles Wells joined PrestaShop to contribute for product/service, mechanism, consumer experience and customer care groups.
According to PrestaShop official Benjamin Teszner“This is an important appointment for the entire PrestaShop community. Charles has over 25 years of experience in software design, development, delivery and support. He has lived and worked in almost every region in the world. On behalf of the board of directors, we are delighted to have Charles join as Chief Product Officer. With his leadership, our users can expect to see accelerated roadmaps and significant product innovations.”

Stefan Devroey appointed chief internationalization officer
Stefan Devroey, Country Manager Benelux, also got the reins of global development PrestaShop.
Within his new job, Stefan is going to lead the online business development at European Union level as well as its country managers, while keeping his position in the Benelux. It is going to make sure the execution and progression of the product in Europe, especially concentrating primarily on growth in Germany, Italy, Spain and Benelux.

PrestaShop founder Bruno Leveque has announced the official launch of PrestaShop Cloud, a free cost version of the prominent open source software to develop online stores completely hosted on servers in PrestaShop run code.
